Thank you! I am happy to be living here. I know that we will have a gorgeous sunset today since it is cold. I will take some photos then with the M8 and M9.

There is no excuse not to be here, Brian.

Christi: I just got back from Joe Patti's Seafood Store. Dana came with me. They have a beignet vendor outside the store. Got some!
I took photos of fishing boats and Pelicans sunset. I used mainly the EP2 and the 85/1.4. It is addictive.

Thanks. I have many lenses, with some excellent selections, but these two Zeiss lenses are (for me) unmatched in how their render images on the Olympus EP cameras. I prefer the 85/1.4 QBM to the Summilux 75/1.4, and I prefer the Zeiss QBM 35/1.4 to the Summilux 35/1.4. The heavy lenses become the main object when I use them. I hold the lens and not the light camera body.

I took these during Thanksgiving Day: [directly as they came out from the camera]

I have gotten used to these lenses. It is too bad that their prices have jumped up. I bought each lens for $200 many years ago, and now they sell for about $800-$1200 on ebay.

Are these optically the same as the later Contax/Yashica and current Zeiss ZE and ZF.2?

I ask because I am considering either the outgoing ZE 85mmf/1.4 and the new Milvus 85mm f/1.4 for use on my Canon 6D. I own the ZE 35mm f/1.4 Distagon and love it.
