X-T1 Questions

Discussion in 'Fuji' started by Dave Jenkins, Mar 20, 2018.

  1. With my X-Pro 1 and my X-T20, if I'm making photographs using the EVF and I want to chimp, I press the playback button and the most recent image appears on the LCD. However, my newly-acquired, used X-T1 does not switch from EVF to LCD when I press the playback button. I've looked all through the settings and can't find any way to make it do like my other two Fujis do. What am I missing?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Are you pressing playback while your eye is still on the EVF?

The XT1 remembers which "viewing" option setting you use in BOTH shooting and reviewing, separately from one another. So do this...

    1. Hit the Playback button to review images.
    2. On the viewfinder hump, right side, hit the "View Mode" button to toggle through the 3? 4? options until you get "LCD Only".

Now, no matter how you're shooting (EVF+Sensor is my usual, for example), when you hit Playback, it will display only on the LCD.
