What's Your "Grab and Go" Camera?

Rx100. After 10 sub zero days, getting wet a few times, and a good bash with my snowmobile handlebars, it is tougher than it looks. Even my Olympus "tough" camera slows down enough to make it basically unusable at those temps.

not so nice to operate the controls with gloves on, that's kind of a bummer

Still hard to beat the LX5, (only because I don't have a 7) for "grab and go" and it's usually in the day bag, but the iPhone is in my pocket within reach 95% of the time and it's pretty darn good for a phone.

The camera of no camera - Ricoh GR.

(the camera I carry when I'm not carrying a camera)

The wartime eye - Leica M9.

(blazing across time zones and countries)

The filmmaker's dream - Panasonic GH3.

(when it has to be caught on video)

I shoot, I score - the Olympus EM-5.

(when I need to capture people in flight)

The new plan: Ricoh GR and Panasonic LX7 in a Lowepro Streamline 250 for day to day shooting. Let's see how long that plan lasts!
