The week might be still young, but yesterday was a very busy shopping day: Nikon F4S, Nikon FM, Nikkor-O 35mm f/2 non AI :) and Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 AF.

Having a big clear out. I sold the Minolta X-700 and bought this P30t...absolutely mint condition. Plus I can also use the 50mm lens on my newly acquired K-S2 :)

I can tell you what's going in the bin - the Minolta Vectis S-1 and expired APS film I bought for it. I've just had the images back from the lab. Oy, what a disaster. Out of focus, light leaks, scratches, colours all over the place. I don't think there is a usable image even as "lomo". At least the camera was only 99p and the film a few quid.

I got my second (and last) 110 camera, a Rollei A110. After discovering this came with a Tessar lens, I had to try one. But it's not as if I saw a lot of future in 110 film. It's intriguingly small, but that's about it for benefits (though this can be quite a considerable one). Still waiting for the film to use with it, but I think it'll just be a test roll or two. Not binning the two 110 cameras, though - very nice pieces of engineering ...

Same thing happened to me a few months ago, I had a roll of APS which was tucked away in a drawer somewhere, it wasn't even mine, I had it developed and gosh it was awful! I just scrapped the negatives and all of the scans.

I guess its the cats lens now... just as well I hear its not a very good lens... so compact though.

Looking forward to trying it with my Nikon F2 - seems nice & contrasty on a few D700 test shots but not particularly sharp.

As mentioned before, bought a few Nikon goodies. A non AI 35mm f/2 that is not pictured and an FM, F4S, 105/2.5 non AI and 50/1.8 AF.

And it seems in great nick ... It's a biggy for a 35mm camera, though; it's easily as big as a Pentacon Six - but José is used to a lot more bulk :)

Yes, certainly does! Is that a winder attached to it?

The F4 makes my F100 look almost compact size. You can find them without the winder but it's still big. Sexy Big though LOL.

    Hi,

It still is a bit lighter than the Pentax 6x7, but doesn’t feel like much. :)

All the F4 have winder, but come with three different grips. This is the intermediate one, already with vertical shutter release button, but not as much FPS as the bigger grip. This configuration makes it an F4S.

I bought it after selling the FA. Looking for an electronic option, this enabled also to replace the F90X that I used with grip, but with more features and especially able to use non AI lenses. The value for which I sold the FA is roughly the same I paid for the F4S in great shape plus the 50mm 1.8 AF.

you're right , they all have a winder, the larger one is just huge.

I bought some films from the new AnalogueWonderland.co.uk web site. They have a good range although some of the stock can be bought more cheaply elsewhere.
