Before I started developing b/w films myself, I did shoot a lot of Kodak BW400CN and T-max 100 and Ilford XP2.
Then I switched to mainly Rollei Superpan before settling on Foma.
But when I buy film, I do tend to include a roll or two of a different flavor, just to see what I can do with it.

It's been 3 weeks, that last roll in the Leica IIIc just doesn't want to fill up. My inspiration has dropped to a minimum and I don't want to waste film shooting the local landscape for the umphteenth time.
Luckily, our Annual weekend at the Dutch Engineer Museum is coming up. Hoping to snap some portraits of folks in early WW2 State-side training activities.

Generator Maintenance.
Leica IIIc, Xenon, expired Lucky B/W 100. This was before the scratches were polished out of the Xenon.
I wonder how many lenses get bad reputations based on damage to the glass. My Summar just "amazed me", with the new front element picked up at the camera show two weeks ago.
I think it's mainly the glow that gives them their bad reputation, even with the marked Summars I own I get pretty decent results. And the glow is somewhat controllable with a hood and not shooting subjects in bright light / high contrast scenes.
I had an interesting discussion about Summar (and other Leica glass) with a fellow photographer, Theo Scholten, he let me shoot a couple of frames with his Nokton on my Epson R-D1 last weekend at the Huis Doorn living history event. He was shooting mainly with an M9 and an M6 ....and he has an M240 at home. Made me suffer from quite a bit of GAS.
Another Xenon shot, in color
