I splurged and bought the Sigma viewfinder for my DP2 Merrill. It's a lot of money but I have to sway it transforms DP2 into a "real" camera. Framing is accurate, and the viewfinder is bright and small. No longer do I have to try to view something in vain on the LCD in bright sunlight, and I will not need to change batteries so often as I can turn off the LCD. Quick question on that- does the LCD take less power if it just shows the exposure data etc compared to the full image as you make the picture?
