Sitting at Gatwick waiting for a flight to Spain, I found myself in Dixon's. I am informed that if I were to buy a camera there, use it and subsequently decide that I don't like it for any reason, I can return it to any Dixon's/Curry's and get a full refund. I'm keeping my cards firmly zipped up as there's a Fuji X100s I wouldn't mind giving a whirl

A couple of years ago I was phoning camera stores all over the Manchester area looking for a battery for my D7000. I gone to visit my daughter with a D7000, a Canon S90, and I had like five batteries for the D7000... I thought.

Somehow, I didn't get them packed though I did have the charger, go figure. I'd put them with some stuff to be packed and they never made it to either my camera case or suitcase. So the first couple days I was stuck shooting the S90. But then wonder of wonders somehow ONE battery had ended up in the middle of my clothes and as I worked down though the suitcase I found it. Seems there just weren't many EN-EL15's around there at the time and I was going to have to make a somewhat complicated public transit connection to find one.

I never set foot in a camera store when I was over there though and that's PROBABLY a good thing....

Spain and the x100s. A great combination. But I guess Spain+RX1 isn't bad either. ;-)
Have a good time in Spain!
