Just thought I'd start a thread that we can visit at that inevitable time when we hit a wall. When nothing inspires you any more and you think it's time to cash in all that expensive photo gear, maybe use the money for a new easier hobby or, do something really selfless and positive for the tribe....maybe finally pay off those delinquent credit cards and annoying loans. Why not, because no manner of gear is making you any better and you suck at this photography gig.

We all arrive at this place, often routinely. So let's help each other out and string up a communal life buoy.

Here's my first oldie but a goodie from Zack Arias, that I often watch when I'm feeling a bit photographically down.

Just give Zack a little time to warm up....

  2. Interesting video, interesting sentiments. I know exactly what he's talking about except I don't seem to get out of the doldrums. Time.. thats what I need. And I am not going to rush.
