  1. beautiful shots, Sue!

Yes, sometimes there are cameras that are "just right" where it counts, even if their specs are being surpassed by other/newer cameras.
(the Nikon D40 was such a camera for me)

My niece has my K200D now, so at least it's still in the family. But that CCD sensor was fabulous at low ISOs.

  5. I very often feel tempted to re-buy. second hand of course, cant get a new one, rarer than hens teeth. You know, the ONLY reason I made changes was because I thought I wanted live view. Having got it, I almost never use it, and I still prefer the CCD sensor. Here's more.

You don't *need* a high ISO for a lot of stuff. This was shot at 100ISO. I almost never shot over 400.

yep there is something about the CCD sensor isn't there. I haven't used my K200D for ages and it's had little use since I got it..hmmm need to make an effort to use it :)
