This past Saturday my sweetie & I went fishin'. No, that's not quite right... she fished, I picked up garbage left behind by other folks mad and took pics. About 10 feet from where The Adorable One was fishin', was a frog. Not just any frog, but a small frog named Smedley. He sat mostly in the water, staring at her. He seemed completely unperturbed by the fishing line, just a few feet away. The Adorable One regaled Smedley with tales of frogs and princesses and princes and undying love. Smedley just stared at her, presumably listening closely. Eventually, Smedley made his way to more insect-filled pastures. Love the story, love the frog, and adore the pix. More HS50? You are feeding my GAS something shocking, Chris. The only thing that stops me right now is that the HS50 isnt available out here except in the grey market or from the US. These are just so excellent!!
I've never encountered a frog in the wild that was so laid back, although he did vamoose when another fisherman came by. "Take only memories, leave nothing but footprints." - Chief Seattle (reportedly) Thanks, Sue, I'm glad you like them. Taken with the HS50, #2 & 4 using the articulating LCD screen so I could get down low. I knew you would appreciate that!
