“Until one is committed, there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back.
all acts of initiative (and creation), there is one elementary
the ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans: that
moment one definitely commits oneself, then Providence moves too.

All sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have
A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in
favor all manner of unforeseen incidents and meetings and
assistance, which no man could have dreamed would have
    his way.

Whatever you can do, or dream you can do, begin it. Boldness has
power, and magic in it. Begin it now.” William H Murray

A damp, misty and rather dreary morning with not too much prospect of a significant improvement.

Left to whither (a reflection on autumn)

Since I was but yards from my front door I was able to fetch a tripod for this shot.

One of the reasons we moved back to Cheshire! The White Lion dates from 1614 and is a marvellous little pub.

Even though I'm not declaring an exclusive theme, I'm looking for scenes of students studying. As a teacher, I try to appreciate the time students spend trying to learn difficult subjects. It's easy to rag on millennials, but as someone that has always dealt with people from 18 to 22, I feel their problems are the same as ever.

Church of Kannelmäki (kannel is ancient Finnish music instrument and the shape of the church reflects this instrument)

The graveyard at the rear of the village church. Newer graves at the front and some of the older ones behind are as much as 200 years old.

Had a long grueling day in the office today (I split between office and home working). This was me about to finally pack up...

Part of my afternoon was spent in the Vitual World of Holodeck. This system is really fun to use. Star Trek Tech for the people. Hampton let me try it out next, so he became the 2D subject of Day 4.
