The snow storm was a backdrop to all of our trip home. The actual burial will take place on Monday at this plot when they bring the backhoe in to dig through the snow and frozen ground.
Effective temperature was somewhere around -15F to -20F today. Was sorting through the holiday clean-up and realized my family had checked off one item on my photography wish list - a close-up lens for the 56. Still figuring out how it works - the fixed working distance makes things interesting. Part of my dinner tonight, Spicy Tuna Sushi served on Holiday plating.

Deja is young woman who works in a group home for special needs. That is where my autistic son lives. Deja is his is favorite home monitor. And I can see why, she has a delightful smile and a great attitude.

An early morning shot across the fields on the edge of my village before yet more rain and sleet. I swear that this has been one of the dullest most miserable starts to a year I can ever remember.
