SiJ 2018 - Day Eighteen.

Wise choice. Each year, I try to impose some limitations to myself to see how I perform in closed quarters (B&W, 75, a theme etc.). This year I’ve outdone myself: a camera that I don’t love to use, a precooked and very typical B&W setting (I mostly shoot color), 16:9 (when I usually shoot 4:3, and find 3:2 a bit rectangular) and JPEG only (for one who normally only shoots RAW). This isn’t Kansas anymore. But I’m having tons of fun nevertheless.

Day Eighteen - the wrong day to have lost sleep the night before

Intelligent thoughts have been struggling to get through my brain fog all day at work... not good. Stupid thoughts must have been using GPS because they were clearly doing much better!

Another travel day with no chance to take many photos. Captured this image of people after going through the security check point. I think the faces sum up quite well how we feel about this process.

I completely agree. It's right in the middle of a very dense urban area, and believe it or not, it's probably the prettiest structure in the area.

That 'cluster' is underneath a large cherry tree and has been flowering all winter, sometimes as many as three at a time.
