Now that's my kind of shot. Then my wife looks at what I've taken and says "that's rubbish". Oh well, can't please all the people all the time.

Very well framed - I took a moment to get the perspective.
Man takes 100,000 photos. Wife says none of them are any good. Now that's my kind of shot. Then my wife looks at what I've taken and says "that's rubbish". Oh well, can't please all the people all the time.

We have a dozen benches like this along the back campus. As you can imagine, I took 40 or so shots like this with different backgrounds, etc., and looked through them all for the best one. One reason I belong to this forum is that only folks like yourselves could understand this. :rolleyes-74:Very well framed - I took a moment to get the perspective.

I've always liked your roses, dead or alive. Lovely shot . Love the processing too, of course.Sigh.... here we go.....

Ahhh, got it. (fixed my typo)Yeah, like in paradise but I'm on an extended stayover in East-Frisia; quite the contrast to say the least.
That's a shame, I'd like to see that lens given a run out.I was going to give the 18-135WR a chance on my Pentax K30 but it's a lens I can't seem to get to grips with.
I remember taking a similar picture for last year's SIJ, it's not easy taking that kind of shot is it, took me about 6 attempts.

Just back from a little walk 'round the house. Wet feet as usual but then there's tea - ....loads .
Ah, I made it seem like I was using something else for that last shot - it was the 18-135, just not the kind of photo I was expecting to take. I shall be persevering nevertheless. The weather today is made for it anyway! That's a shame, I'd like to see that lens given a run out.
