Oh, I know that stand of trees!!! Well, I know it from another photographer's pictures, that is. pdh, do you remember Iansky from over on mu43? This is time around the feeling I'm getting here is close to that of The Mother Ship having landed. Very nice lines and color fields going on here, pdh and that wonderful blue sky braking through above that iconic stand of trees. Very beautiful and a little bit haunting. Is there a story behind that place or does it just happen to be along one of your regular haunts? If it were near me, I am sure I would take many photographs of it.
well you've certainly seen it from different angles in my photostream BB ... I know of Iansky, but a quick search didn't turn up anything that was obviously the same ... can you find an example? It's locally called "the caterpillar" ... for obvious reasons!
