Have we got a "Spring" thread? I couldn't find one, but if not here's a start ... and if there is, then a modmin can merge can't they ...

We've jumped from late winter to early summer it seems here. The pollen is EVERYWHERE though. I wish I had some images to post, but its been pretty dreary too...

    Geese returning... ice staying

No fields of spring flowers here.... but geese coming back signify spring, while the remaining ice and snow on the riverbank mean it is slowww in coming.

Vidar's balloon made me think of the youngest grandchild, so how about a little girl playing in the backyard on a spring day?

I love that time, only a week or two each year, when most of the landscape still looks wintery and barren, but through the bare branches and trees you spot a tree with fresh little leaves, like a cloud of green twinkles in the spring time sun...

wish I'd shot this not quite so head on to the little stream...

I've shown pics of these windmills before, but never on an early spring day or from this angle, and since these are the most photogenic objects on my route to the university, here's another pic of them!

Spring has arrived here in southern Minnesota; although snow is predicted for Wednesday.
