    Saw this about a new pocket compact, I know lots of people are waiting on the X100, but a pocket zoom with manual shooting and RAW might interest some people..
    Personally I might be interested, if it can match my S95 in IQ then the extra zoom would be nice - like everything else, it depends on the sensor quality...

    "Pre-CES 2011: Samsung has released the WB700 ultra-compact with 18x optical zoom. The camera offers an equivalent zoom range of 24-432mm, optical image stabilization, RAW format shooting, P/A/S/M shooting modes and Smart Filters. It can also shoot 720p HD movies in H.264 format and offers HD output. It will be available from April 2011 at a retail price of $299.99 in the US market and £249.99 in the UK."

    Happy New Year everyone :smile::smile:

    a lens like that is always a compromise and will be slow on the long end. Having said that I have been VERY pleased with my Samsung TL500/EX1
