    Like the right more than the left Paul. The treatment on my preferred side adds a really sweet IR effect.

    oh heavens ... I think you use Aperture so I'm not sure how the controls relate to Lightroom, which is what I used ... but in essence I've heavily manipulated the the colour mix, pushing red, orange, yellow and green rather hard, while pulling blue and aqua; I also tweaked the tone curve so it's rather steep; and fiddled with the camera calibration settings too (which I think is part of the Adobe RAW that LR allows you to get at directly?).

    It was only a bit of fun really, I liked the structural detail it revealed but this sort of gimmicky heavy processing usually turns me off images ! I did think twice about whether to post it ...

    It is interesting and useful nevertheless, I think, to experiment in order to understand better how colour affects black and white images.
