Pentax Pentax Q samples

Took the Q + 02 with me on a big walk up Kinder Scout on Saturday. The weather was grim but I got some nice pics :). Also got horribly lost in the fog and ended up with a £30 taxi to get back to the car...oh well!

As the walk was supposed to be emulating the 1932 "Kinder trespass" I thought I'd go for an old feel in this one in Silver Efex Pro

The Q10 still manages to surprise me even after all this time.

Pleasantly surprised at the highlight recovery of the Pentax Q by John Flores, on Flickr

I thought that the sky was lost on this one-the camera was in aperture priority and didn't react quickly enough to the rapidly changing light. Still, I twirled some knobs in Lightroom and this happened. Yeah, the sky is very very blue. I know. But I wanted to give this photo some pop for the Instagram crowd.

I find that the combi of a small general coverage Q7 system and a high detail camera like the DP1m (or GR) makes for a good light travel setup.
The high detail camera does the landscapes, etc that might go for large prints later, the Q does all the other stuff (good to A4 prints anyway)
