What is the name of the white trees w/o the leaves?

As said, it must be a spectacular walk!

They're Pencil Pine's (Athrotaxis cupressoides) - very closely related to the King Billy Pine you photographed at Dove Lake. These were killed by bushfire in the 1960's. They can live for up to 1500 years but have no tolerance to fire.
