    I swear, right at 1:39, I saw those moves used by Jason Alexander as George on Seinfeld.

    edit: the split screen where Shatner is smoking. Oh my. Even for back then -- what the heck were they thinking??

    This what people have to do to make a living. I suspect things improved for them once the movie franchise got going. These things just die away for most folks, but these guys had a rebirth of fame so it's even funnier.

    I have a very old (relatively speaking) CHiPS annual around here somewhere - it's the 1981 edition. :wink:
