On Reading

    Having just acquired a little book of Kertesz's photographs of people reading and having decided to revisit my archive of DSLR pictures in light of the new approach I thought, after Kertesz, we could have a thread of images of people reading. Here's one from me to start taken with my Sony DSLR a few years ago.

    New age reading - no paper...

    The guy on the right might be working on something else on his smart-phone, but the guy on the left was definitely reading while he waited for the bus...

    We seem to do about 95% or more of our book reading on Kindles these days, so this is highly representative. And the dog is ALWAYS there:
