Up around 7:00, family still sleeping, morning chores and a candle to greet the day. As said, X Pro1, Zeiss Touit 32mm, processed in LRCC - the system for the challenge. ;-)

I have a stinking cold today, and am spending a timeless afternoon curled up on the sofa watching "The Wind and the Lion". Oscar, sitting on my lap, knows there's a bacon and egg banjo about to arrive, courtesy of my wife...

Marlof, if this is part of a series, I'm excited to watch your month.
Burkey, I love the way that Zeiss Touit renders the OOF areas. I'm keeping on eye on your submissions for sure. Hopefully it won't give me too much GAS.
Is it a good idea to just put a small note saying which camera/lens on each, just to save going back to the beginning to find out what each of us is using?
For the first image I got up very early (for a new year's day standard) but light was far from ideal. First lesson, for me, of using a fish eye is that there are a lot more areas (exposure wise) to keep in mind. Returned to the same spot some hours latter and this is the result.
Luke - Yup, I agree completely. The Zeiss Touit is "creepy good". For some reason the combination of the Touit and the X Pro1 works very well in terms of the way the image gets written. I wish Zeiss made a 23mm with an X mount.

We started to visit winter circus during Christmas and New Year holiday season when kids were small. And our tradition has now continued for over decade.
Even though time was somewhat limited today, just walking part of today's journey was very pleasant; I actually had difficulties deciding ... Maybe we could also create an "outtakes" thread?

too many stunning images on here...a visual feast when one wakes up in the morning....to see what my overseas friends have made of the day before. We're so lucky here in Australia to glimpse the day before you all. We can let you know what's in store
