To be honest........this is one of mine. I like it and so do a number of others. It made #1 on Explore. Ok, it's a nice shot....processed in LR 5 but I am sure there were others far more worthy. I am pleased it got there....for sure and I expect I will print it and hang it.

Anyways, big up to the GXR/Zeiss combo for allowing me to get it right.

It's a wonderful image and well deserving of being "Explored." Beautiful work.

Don't question the science behind flickr explore, just bask in the brief glory that it brings

you should be able to figure it out...
Congrats Pete - Flickr explore is a very funny beast. I've had a number of shots on it and a few of them I thought were sort of worthy but a lot of them just make me scratch my head and say "huh?" or something equally articulate. This one of yours is a really fine shot though!

But I didn't know they ranked them - I never noticed a number on any of mine. The only reason I know they've made explore at all is they tend to get a lot more hits and comments than other shots (and from people I don't know) and inevitably a couple of the comments will say something about explore.

    In any case enjoy it!
