Olympus E-M10
I've had a chance to play with both the Lumix 14-45 lens and the Olympus 14-42 EZ pancake (shot above ) and from both cameras I'm getting poor resolution/hazy look that takes a lot of processing.
No I haven't used filters or lens hoods but in my case that wouldn't have affected my images on an overcast day.
I think that I'm beginning to understand why the EM10 isn't exciting me......one reason may be shuttershock at certain speed which is overcome by delaying the shutter by 1/8 , secondly the EZ kit lens isn't a stellar performer and operates in the "just OK" Zone and lastly OOC camera jpegs are over-processed.
At least I've found a way to make my primes work acceptably so that's good.
I actually liked my OMD EM5 as much as my old 7D. It had become a good travel camera especially when paired with the 12-50mm kit lens, which covered all of my needs and focal length. I wouldn't go as far as saying that the image was stellar, but my skills are actually not there yet. I don't blame my camera for what I cannot achieve.
took a fuji and a gx7 to a sunset , I submitted a very saturated version to the fuji images but today I went through my photos today and felt like something abit more calming which funny enough I got with this shot because I switched to the m43. the sun was setting very quickly.
