If you love time lapse and/or if you are amazed by mega-pickles check out this video........

Each shot in the time lapse video is 80 megapickles captured with a PhaseOne IQ180 (whatever that is, but I'm definitely buying a couple when I win the lottery).

Can you imagine the computer you would need if you wanted to do any post-processing on that footage?

When you win the lottery, Luke, you better include a Cray along with that Phase One.

    Cheers, Jock

When I win that lottery, I'm gonna buy a LOT of stupid stuff. Don't worry about that Jock. I just need to start buying the lottery tickets. :roflmao:

I don't know if its my contrarian gene kicking in, but if you hadn't told me that these were 10k time lapses I would have thought, "Meh. They're ok." That first shot for example, there's very little going on in the shot apart from little pixels moving around. Make that same shot over the course of 24 hours with the light changing and with a long exposure time so that people become blurs and then you might have something.

Given that my screen can only show 1920 X 1080, something like this is going to be lost on me until I can get a 4k or higher capable display.

There are graphic cards (or modules) today that will do the trick, and fit on your desktop just fine. All you need is a generous budget and the liquid nitrogen cooling module for the graphic unit. The software might be a bit pricy too.
