This blog -- http://psnp.lightshedder.com/ -- is very big on using superzooms and other point and shoot cameras for nature photography. Scroll down to "point and shoot for warblers" and you will find a very useful blog on how to manage and use your high-zoom-ratio camera. Some of the stuff is very basic, but I find it is useful to be reminded of the fundamentals from time to time. The author takes compelling pictures and is an excellent writer. Cheers, Jock
