Some first attempts at levitation type photos ...

Ceratinly learning to get the timing right for this type of photography! Or maybe, running in mid air ...

    Okay, one more!

Gosh pdh, I had to look that one up!

Yes, I suppose it is, even if it was done in complete ignorance.

I like these - the shadow adds to the crisp detail.

Nice work Wolfie. Very nice indeed. Was this a personal or commercial shoot?

    Just a personal project ...

was inspired after some examples at yowayowacamera.com and thinking of trying to use the style for a personal project.
All shot on the E-P3 with the 40-150 kit zoom on JPEG. Shutter speeds were up to 1/4000. As you say, the sun came on very bright after earlier rain in the day and made for dramatic shadows. Hope to do some more with some different poses and camera angles - obviously impossible without a very energetic and capable model!
  7. Fun shots, I imagine a lot of missed shots.

Very "decisive split-second" type of photography

Yep - and you discover than 3 fps isn't really that much - you really have to nail it on the first shot.

Sometimes the best work is done out of ignorance... this may be one of those times....but I don't think so.
Your obviously thinking and planing what you bring to light.
