Less is More

    I will use this photo as an excuse to participate again. When I checked in this morning I noticed the many familiar names it felt like coming home and asked myself "why didn't you check in sooner"? No real reason, actually. So my sincere apologies.

    I must say that I like the new layout. The photos are, as always, spectacular.

    Here is a shot that I recently used for a "less is more" contest. An intriguing theme! I will leave it up to your imagination how many "more's" you can see in this photo.

    FYI: it was shot with Fuji X-T1, 56mm at f2, 1/45sec on tripod with natural light. I tried various compositions, including a smaller figure (required quite some photoshopping because I wanted to keep the same perspective). This one was most powerful. The jury thought so too.

    In all its simplicity, I find this an intriguing image. It made me wonder what the front of the figurine looked like. And welcome back Peter.
