Normally I wouldn't suggest the Monochrom/Noctilux as a wildlife camera, but when they come to me (begging for food as many wild animals do), it's an opportunity not to be missed. I regret that this isn't the best perspective on the birds, since the camera is too high up, but in spite of the crop I thought the detail was good. One of these birds is missing one foot. f4.0, 1/1000, ISO 800. {}
Just to complete the loop, these guys are Turnstones and have featured recently both in the Bird thread and in Silver September https://www.photographerslounge.org/showthread.php?t=22198 Barrie
Sure, birds. I feel like I'm being haunted by Turnstones ever since encountering them in the 2 threads Barrie's referencing!
