Very windy and very sunny today, that leads to some very happy kite surfers on the beach, and gave me a great opportunity to play with the DP2M.

They look great on my iPad. I really wish I hadn't sold my DPM's

Thanks. It's not too late to get one from Ebay :) I'm thinking hard about getting a spare.

Ebay prices in the UK for used Merrills have risen to levels higher than that I paid for new !
I paid £300 each when I bought originally

Yeah I know, I'm sad I sold my DP1M and DP3M. But even if they're more expensive now I don't really see anything else to replace them, maybe a Leica Q or a Sony RX1Rii but.. they're a lot more than a used Merrill :)

That's a lot of sky traffic - do they ever involve a tangle?

I didn't see any, but I certainly was wondering the same. And they were going really fast too, and getting like 5 metres in the air sometimes, I could imagine tangled lines ending up being very painful.
