How many frames in a 180 deg pano using pano mode on the X100

It depends on the lens focal length. With a full fisheye it is only 1 or 2, a more standard lens (say 28mm) it will be 4 to 6 depending on the orientation of the camera and the amount of overlap you use, and with a tele lens it can be 10-20 or more at full zoom.
