Sigma Good deal? DP1S second hand

Hello everyone.

I can buy a second hand Sigma DP1S for 115,– euro. I am going to use it next to my G11, mainly streetphotography and documentary.
Is this a good deal for this camera?

If there is nothing wrong with the camera, it's a very good price indeed.
Whether it will suit you and your style of photography only you will be able to judge after trying.
They are slightly quirky cameras and don't suit everybody.
At that price I'd jump on it as a companion to my dp2s.

Yes sounds like a good deal. The DP1 series is great for street shooting with zone focusing, as long as you don't expect fast shot-to-shot times.

if it's in good condition (obviously it's a very good price.
(I paid 180 Euros for my DP1s, when they had that fire-sale on ebay just before the DP1x came out. Definitely worth it

i would imagine with the advent of the DPx Merrill cameras, the used value of the earlier versions will be dropping like a stone ... and it may even be financially advantageous not to rush into a decision ...
