getting off the fence

Ralph, nice shots! I have and adore the XZ-1 using it RAW is the way to go if you ever plan to shoot at anything over base ISO. That fast lens makes it easier to avoid raising ISO.

Anyone know what the true base ISO of the XZ-1 is?

It is indeed a great camera, but indeed you must shoot RAW and indeed it is still a small sensor. I'm about to head out on vacation and may take only the XZ-1.

I suspect it is ISO 100, it gets really good there
 
LoL, I see you did cat portraits with your new XZ-1, as I did dog portraits, Lili ;-)

I'll try switching from ISO 125 to 100 in case it makes a difference... Thanks for your comments Lili and Andrew!
