From a stroll in Old San Juan

These are from a stroll in Old San Juan yesterday afternoon. I went shooting with two old friends of mine, and without having planned it, it turned out that all three of us brought film cameras: Yashica Mat 124G, Canon Elan 7 and Canon AT-1.

These are some of my shots:

All taken with a Canon AT-1, 35mm and 100mm 2.8 FD lenses, on Kodak BW400CN chromogenic film. One-hour developing at CVS and scanned with an Epson Perfection V500.

Cheers,

Antonio

I'd missed the cemetary shots before ... very fine.
It may be unfashionable to say so, but I still think b&w film has a different "feel" that I simply prefer to look at over digital b&w

I just bought my dream camera - the venerable Canon New F-1 with the AE Power Winder FN and three focusing screens (FN-AE, FN-PE, FN-SE) providing center-weighted, partial and spot metering.

Cosmetically it's a beater (gotta love those bronzed corners) but works like a charm. I think I will have a lot of fun shooting with this camera during the winter holidays. I want to try shooting some positive film so the spot-metering focusing screen will be pretty handy!

(Gee, my Significant Other is probably going to kill me :D)

Good for you! I would absolutely love to own one. I've been tempted more than once, but the high price has kept me from getting it.

Lovely photos Antonio, I dream of the day I convert one of our spare rooms into a darkroom and find an M6 to partner the M8 (or hopefully M9 by then). Until then I shall have to be satisfied with drooling over this thread. Keep up the good work everyone.
