OK I give in “SIJ”?
Single In January. It is a challenge on our sister site serious compacts. You pick one body, one lens to shoot an image with and post it every day.
Anytime! They are looking at doing this again in October. @Mike G you should give it a try.
The dead Knotweed on the other side annoyed me, but the current was strong and the rocks slippery. Only other way across was the rain-slickened old RR bridge. I decided to give that a pass, as I didn't have the spikes for my boots with me.
Beautiful Tony. I am still barely walking but improving. When I make my trip I will have to seek these places out. My sister lived in WV for a number of years. She was near Snowshoe. Looks like it will be next year now, My injury is going to require more time to be able to hike.
I may have to take a weekend trip put to check some of these places out with Tony. But, do we have to hike or can we take my Jeep?
I'm much closer to Charleston. Snowshoe is about 3 hours from me. I love that part of the state, though I don't get up there often. It's a bit far for a day trip. I hope your injury heals quickly. Sorry to hear you're having a hard time.
LOL, you could get a Jeep to where I was, but where's the fun in that? Besides, I was bicycling in the rain today.
You haven't ridden in a Jeep with me
So you're saying it's a "Double E" ticket ride, eh? You haven't experienced anything until you hop on the back of my ride!
That has lots of fun potential.
Take a boat to work?
Hanging out with my goofy friends
And, the no paparazzi friend
I had some friends in from Long Island this past weekend. Carried the 23/35/50 kit in a small Tamrac Apache bag. Wound up only shooting with the 23mm. Even when there were times the 35mm would have been a bit better for composition. Between that and Tony's downsizing post, it has me thinking of selling off the 35mm and rolling with a 23/50/90 kit. But I'm afraid as soon as I did I would find I need the 35 for something.
Heeeey, a V-Strom! I had no idea. Still haven't found a bag of $ in the couch cushion to replace my beloved old FZ-6 I sold to move out here a year and a half ago. The absence kills me.
