Pretty much hit the nail on the head. It's been years, and I am still in love with mine. I love it for all it's innovations and limitations alike.

A camera I would have purchased. But no adjustable diopter was a deal breaker for me. I have the Xpro2. Beautiful bit of kit.

  4. Precisely why I didnt buy one. Now I cant afford a 2 :(

I've heard Fuji are doing their rebates soon.

  6. ON an Aussie age pension... won't help, I'm afraid. I'm officially past being able to buy toys.

I bought a Nikon diopter lens. Cheap and does what it's made for, even on the X-Pro1. Bought a second one, stronger, just in case, but so far i didn't need it.

  8. Yeah I thought about doing that when it was first released, but, I'm a diabetic, and my eyes can vary from one day to the next, and now (just after I had retrained myself to use my right eye instead of left) I have a detached vitreous in my right eye and cant use it for viewfinders at all. Its back to the left and variable needs. X100 will have to do.
