Nikon Firmware Updates

I don't know if everyone already knew about the updates but there have been a couple for the V1 and J1.

J1: http://nikonasia-en.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/8218/p/628/c/216/st/5/sno/1

This is v1.40, I was only on v1.3 and involves ... not a lot..

Modifications enabled with upgrade of A and B firmware to Ver. 1.40

- Support for the FULL/LIMIT focus limit switch on the 1 NIKKOR VR 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 has been added.
When camera firmware is updated to this version, autofocus does not function when an FT1 running L firmware Ver. 1.10 or earlier is used.
Users of the FT1 must update FT1 L firmware to Ver. 1.20 at the same time camera firmware is updated.
- An issue that prevented printing of photos using the PictBridge standard with some printers has been resolved.

There doesnt seem to be anything more for later models.

Actually, Nikon also updated the V2, J2, and J3 to rev. 1.2 at the same time. And one significant improvement that's not documented with the combination of the most recent body firmware and the most recent FT-1 firmware, is that Nikon un-broke the ability to use most recent Tamron lenses on the FT-1. Sigma lenses also work now, apparently more reliably than they did.
