Fuji Favorite cheap speedlight modifiers

Bobby T

Out Of Nowhere
Since we have been talking a bit about speedlights and techniques for shooting with flash, I wanted to start a thread showing our favorite modifiers. Hopefully others will contribute.

This is a really good, low cost light stand

Neewer 16" mini round soft box. This thing is great because it is small, but you can move it close to the subject where it can act as a big light.

StudioPro 43" reflector/shoot through umbrella. This is a great bang for the buck as it creates a big, soft light source. Is simple, cheap, and versatile.

Magmod kit starts to get a little more costly. The setup for this shot was the maggrid and magbounce. Including the piece which goes on the flash, this will be over $100. But it is a great, versatile, light weight kit.

Westcott Rapid Box
This is a 26" Octobox which is very well made, and very portable. The downside is that this cost $169. The upside is that it can be used as an octobox and as a beauty dish. And it sets up very quickly.
