...according to 43 rumors there will be two fast zooms coming from Panasonic. They'll be part of the X premium series and have nano surface coating:

43 Rumors | Blog | Real images of the 12-35mm and 35-100mm fast X zooms.

What isn't clear is just how fast the lenses will be. Olympus has constant f/2 zooms in for 4/3rds with similar focal lengths (14-35mm f/2 and the 35-100mm f/2) and I'd love to see constant f/2 zooms for m4/3 - it'll definately set the system apart from other ILC systems and m4/3 cameras need all the light they can get (due to disadvantages of smaller sensors).

I was thinking that Panny managed to make the 4/3rds D summilux 25mm 1.4 significantly smaller and for nearly half the price in the m4/3rds version:

So will we be able to see design/engineering excellance and have two small f/2 zooms? I guess they'll be pricey, but I hope so.

Exciting times for micro four thirds indeed - I left micro four thirds because the lenses were limited, knowing I'd return when the system matured more - guess that time is now
