DXO Takes Nik from Google!

  2. Yeah its good news I think. Wont be free once they start developing it but hopefully those of us already having it may get free updates for a while? Lets hope pricing never gets back to the stratosphere where Nik Software had it.

    I like this news. It is great fun. Probably start costing but hopefully not a subscription model.

    I was very happy to read this at the bottom, because I actually already paid for it years ago and I won't pay for it again.

    "The current Nik Collection will remain available for free and can be downloaded below, please fill the form with your email address, we will send you the links."

    I think the u-point interface is one of the most clever bits of photo editing tools I've ever used....and I look forward to see how DxO continues to move it forward.

  7. They have included the U-point in their DXO Photolab app. Pricing is reasonable, as well. Not for me with the Aussie dollar diving, but overall pretty good. I guess I will just keep using Viveza :)
