When I see this two things come to mind...
- There have been many photographers who have written "when I was 7, 8, 9, 10... my dad, mom, grandfather... gave me a camera..." - so you may be starting him on his own photographic career
- When I was a kid I was enamored with my grandfather's McIntosh audio equipment and the big blue meters. I've since been a lifelong audiophile.
