Is there going to be a December PAD? With Christmas coming on, I'd be content to skip it, but I'm game if anyone else is. If the moderators haven't made up their minds yet, I'd suggest December Doodads - close ups of anything - an ornament, not the Christmas tree, a rose, not the bush, a wheel, not the bike, a door, not the house, etc.

I like the sound of December doodads (or even doohickies ;) ) Chestnuts roasting on an open fire... Baubles baubling, five gold rings... Mince pies, gold, frankinsence and bacon, P.I.B.s, bows, bobbles, berries...

    Let's to it!

I've not done much in November, and don't expect to in December. Maybe January, or not. I'm taking a rest from intense photography. A few pictures every week, but nothing serious.

I hope more people will be willing to join in. There is no need to feel forced to do one every day. Do it if the "spirit" moves you. It helps fight GAS and sharing images makes you feel good.

Sounds like a capital idea to me. Opportunities for outdoor photos are getting rarer with the English winter deepening.

I press the shutter button every day, but there isn't always a picture.

Good! I thought it will be nice and flexible for bad weather/holidays. Doo-dads, doohickies, but not thingamagigs. Thingamagigs doesn't alliterate!

You made my day, Martin. I have never before participated in a conversation that included "a capital idea!"

I'd find this easier than the Nov night shots.

Me too. I never did produce anything for the November theme, but I think I could manage a wossname or a whatsit.

I'm in too. Anything that motivates me to grab the camera everyday is good thing. I couldn't keep up with all the night shots for November. But December has a lot of potential.
