I have this shot with and without the sun peaking through.

  4. For Day 6, I'm revisiting the weed-like teasles that proliferate around the old farm in southern Oregon where I hang my shingle. These ones, faded to a pale gold or beige, stand out against the darkish browns of the barn siding behind them. I love the way they look.

  5. Well, to some it may just be a lowly Virginia Creeper but.....those tones are quite amazing. Beautiful image.

It's beginning to feel a lot like Autumn...

Another from my desk chair. Just open the window, and hang the camera out the window! And just in case you haven't noticed, I have a very pleasant view around our place.

Didn't get out today, family visit from the other side of the state - lots of fun. Here's another from yesterday. FX-1, from RAW, processed in LR5 and Color Efex Pro 4.

A bit of fall air today, but the only fall color I could find was some weather concrete at the local park.

  17. Quite a subtle and exquisite exercise in colors and image-making, Isoterica.

And pardon my curiosity but - what camera & lens did you use to create this?

I forced my wife to pose with the dogs on our morning walk by the lake. The weather was perfect and she's usually not on the morning dog walk, so she obliged. I intentionally processed this to look like an old snapshot to try to obfuscate the fact that it really IS just a snapshot.
