I just missed focus with the fronts of the pears slightly OOF. The background was very distracting so I wanted to shoot with a shallow DOF, but it's either too shallow or should have moved the focus slightly closer to the camera. {} a pair of pears (and a third one) by Lukinosity, on Flickr
B&W From Color These two are from the color jpeg. The color one PP is with PS auto levels and half sharpening. The B&W is PS mono conversion, with no other PP. The equipment is the E-p3 and Vivitar 24mm View from my office/dining chair, by the window, where I sit for my morning coffee, and our forum visit. Good morning! :smile:
I usually don't like "grain," but boy! does it work in this photo! The detail - and the softness - stunning!
