Wanted to stop and capture some images with the X100 on the way home as the sky had character. These are the results converted in Silver Efex Pro

  2. All good, but the second works best for me, with powerful combination of grim skies and lonely path.

Yessir! There's magic in number 2.... all are nice but #2 is a real winner...

As they are, #2 is very absorbing.

In #3 I see a bunch of opportunities. Vertical crop to focus on the lonely tree to the right, or another vertical crop to focus on the rain falling in the distance. So much captured in one image! But that's my eye, and I'd rather trust Ian's.

Thanks all for the feedback it is much appreciated,

Pelao, I did consider cropping to show just the rain / tree in image 4 however as the images were shot with the X100 I did not want to crop in close and lose the effective coverage of the 23mm so thought that tree and rain balanced each other (wet & dry - yin & yang) so kept as is.
