Took a quick trip to the zoo today, the sun was out for once and even though it was cold it wasn't too windy.
I brought my RX100, DP2s and D5100 with 50mm f1.8, ended up just using the Nikon.
It might not be as sexy as the RX100 or exotic as the Sigma, but it delivers every time with minimal fuss, and sometimes that's just the ticket. And with a small lens it's not really a bother to carry around.

The brand new polar bear exhibit. They got a lot more room now and they look like they're enjoying it.

One month old elephant calf, if I could have taken it home with me I sure would have! (Just for the weekend mind you).

Tiger in a tree, I wouldn't want to be the fireman trying to get it down..

If the polar bear ever becomes extinct, I hope I'm dead and gone already.
