Chickens always kind of creep me out. We had some growing up and I would not go near them.

Whew! For a moment I envisioned someone dropping chickens from a helicopter, similar to the old WKRP Thanksgiving episode.
They really do. We discovered this by accident. By way of having the treats in hand, but not giving them out yet due to us talking. So the chickens started jumping up and getting the treats on their own.Goodness me, the girls do jump for their treats, dont they

A squirrel came into the yard one afternoon. These seemingly timid, goofy chickens, formed up into a v formation. They started making a sound I never thought I would never from a chicken. Then viciously went after said squirrel as group, in formation. Squirrels will no longer come into our yard.
They have been far more entertaining then I ever could have imagined. And, thank you.
