Nik works as round trip plugins with Capture One.
I have used Nik but lately I only use Define 2 or Viveza. I still think it's a must have program but I have used Luminar more often recently.
I never use Nik these days. My workflow has settled in very well with Capture One and Affinity Photo. I mentioned Nik's round trip ability for people reading this thread who are going through the same decision making process. Although I will always keep it just in case.
This thread is a prime example of why it's so great to be a photographer these days. There are so many different ways to edit and have post process workflow for people to choose from. Not to mention how much great gear is out there for every budget.
...And so many interpretations of How an image should appear. Photography is an endless journey.
Nik's U-point technology is now included in DxO PhotoLab.
So now they only have to put in Fuji RAW . . . . . ;-)
Dummy me downloaded Photolab to try out without reading that Fuji raw files were not supported. I had assumed at this point everything would support Fuji raw files.
