I'm going to cheat - slightly - with this. I copied these photos from the original m/f negatives using my X-T1.
This is definitely my great-uncle Arthur. He bought a derelict farm and brought it back to life. It was an old watermill, and was mentioned in the Domesday Book. I had many a happy childhood summer there when I was little.

...and this little girl is my mum - born 1922 - and her mother, my nana, who was Irish by birth and christened Easter Muldowney. She was known thus until she worked in service in England. The first family to employ her regarded her given name as blasphemous and called her Esther - a name she adopted for the rest of her life.
